Defending LFA premiership champions Liberia Black has gotten another important Victory in the competition.

They came from a goal down to beat strugglers Invincible Eleven two one Sunday afternoon at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia. The encounter that created less accitment from its start saw Linclon Garteh slot home early on 13 minutes to put the yellow boys infront. All most closed to the half hour mark a blunder from goal keeper Edwin Boakai saw Black star’s Wonder boy Sengbeh Kennedy equalized on 29 minutes. With the first half of the of the engagement coming to closed there were less talking points after a stuttering performance in the first period. Back from recess it was the champions that seems eager to go infront, a nice James Soto Roberts right win cross saw Bennier Tisdell side netting after a nice effort on 48 minute.

IE would have than taking lead minutes later when Dedee Mcclain strike wide from inside the box after being setup nicely by Lincoln Garteh.

 Another fine opportunity feel to Lincoln Garteh on 67 minutes when an Ousman Dorley Volley found him in the Box but the forward apply less effort thinking of an offside decision but the flag was kept down.

 The yellow boys quarter of an hour pressure continue with another missed opportunity.

Lincoln Garteh brilliant lift win run saw team captain Joseph Kellie Hina just infront of goal but the striker first touch was too hard as it went sailing over the cross on 70 minutes.

 The champions although created some silky moves but were silence throughout the opening stages of the second period.

 Yao Ablode only needed to tap over goal keeper Boakai but the forwad wested the real opportunity despite a nice effort from Sengbeh Kennedy to put him through with 75 minute on the match clock.

 IE responded well again but another missed as Joseph Hina strike went inches off clarence Roberts bar on 77 minutes.

 The Champions than begun a late fight for the three point, Jame Soto Roberts nice 30 yard free kick was pawnded over for a coner by goal keeper Boakai but the IE shot stopper went hating the ball into his own net from the Roberts Corner.

Black Star’s head coach Amos smith thinks his boys are committed despite speculations that that the teams poor form is attributed to lack of committment.

 He said they are now back on the right footing after two consecutive victor.

 IE’S captain Joseph Kellie Hina attributed their lost to lack of motivation from offcials.

 He express frustration that the players are secrificing and not being cater to.

Three second half goals from NPA Anchors Wednesday afternoon guranteethem the full three points when they came from a goal down  they to beat Premiership giants Mighty Barrolle at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia.

 The Red boys begun the match as per their recent splendid form taking the lead on 23minute through their skipper Nuzohn Kulala after a high earned effort from the player.

 They would have increase their lead minutes later but  Weaka Wesseh wasted a glorious opportunity that came his way.

 Back from recess the Anchors fail to allow their opponents settle when former Mighty barrolle Midfieder Wefia Beyan 22 yard strike when sailing behind rollers goal keeper Tom Nimely.

 Moment  after the equalizer the Anchors had the opportunity of going in front when Jackson Cooper Strike wide from 6yard  with only Tom Nimely to beat.

They got what they were looking for on 53 minutes when Substitue Geeply Nagbe first touch landed behind goal keeper Nimely  seconds after his introduction when  he rise into a Mohammed Trawally cross on near post

The Anchors completed the job nearly ten minutes from time when when Jackson Cooper briantly chest in a superb Charles Washington left wing cross.

Nuzohn Kulala put through Archie Harvey to reduce the tally on 90 minutes and had the chance of  rescuring a point for the rollers second into added time but his strike went sialing wide over the cross bar.

 NPA Anchors head coach Raymond Morton Disclosed The secret of  beating Mighty Barrolle.

But Mighty Barrolle skipper Nuzohn Kulala attributed their defeat to complacency.

 In another premiership encouter that took on Wednesday LISCR FC returned to winning form with two nil victory over Gedi and Sons at the Nancy B. Doe Sport stadium in Kakata Margibi County.

 Earlier at the ATS Kahn United feld one nil to Margibi Base Mellinium FC in a first division outing.

BYC CONTINUE FINE FORM

Barrack Young Controllers Thursday continue their impressive winning form in the ongoing LFA premiership.

 BYC did so after an outstanding two one victory over Andorence FC at the Antoinette Tubman in Monrovia.

 Francis Jallabah open the scoring four minutes into time from a goal mouth scramble before Myers Gailo increase the lead to two with a terrific 20yard free kick.

 Benjamin Lolo reduce tally on 34 minute when he beat passed a BYC defender before flipping the ball over the head of the BYC goal keeper.

 Back from recess Andorence though dominant in the second half of the match but fail to capitalized on several golden opportunities that would have secure the a point.

 Earlier at the ATS Georgian FC continue their poor form when they went down one nil to strugglers 72th FC in second division fixture.

Oilers Drop Points Again

Sesational LPRC Oilers have again scramble  at the top of  the LFA premiership table.

 Oilers settled to an entertaining one all draw on Friday afternoon with table botton side Jubilee Fc at the Antoinette Tubman in Monrovia.

 Goalkeeper Saylee Swen put the the oil boys infront on eight minutes from the panelty spot when a player of Jubilee handed the ball illegally in the box.

 But their lead lasted for only ten minutes when Alfred Gibson eighteen yard left foot strike on 19 minutes bagged the equalizer for Jubilee FC.

 Deep into the second period, the premiership league leaders seemed to be in control of the match but counter attacks from Jubilee post more threats to their defense.

 Afred Gibson poorly controlled an Osasa Bah two one-on- one counter attacks with goal keeper Swen to beat on the hour mark.

 Johnny Gbledee  strike wide a glorious opportunity when made a brillant run on the left wing.

 With one minute addded time on the clock Afred Gibson Control behind the Oilers defense but his strike went inches away from goal to end the drama.

Black Stars Gets Narrow Win

Defending LFA premiership champions liberia Black Star has returned to winning in the competition.

Black star earned a competitive three two victory over NPA Anchors Sunday at Nancy B. Doe stadium in Kakata Margibi County.

 Yao Ablode,  James Soto Roberts and Martin Bestment scored for the defending champions.

 Elsewhere Mighty Barrolle  where held to a one all draw by Monrovia Club Breweries at D. Tweh sports in on bushrod island. 

At the Antonitte Tubman Stadium in central Monrovia sunshine yellow boys Invincible Eleven grabbed a two one victory over Andorence Fc.

 Dedee Mcclain score a brave for the yellow boys, while Albert got Andorence consolation.

 The match between FC AK Liberia and Mighty Blue Angel was postponed due to bad pitch condition.

The encounter was shedule to take place at the Unification town soccer pitch in Margibi County.

 Reports received from the venue said the entire pitch was floaded.

Gedi and Sons has gotten an important Victory in the LFA premiership. They defeated Watanga FC two nil Monday August 3  at the Antoinette Tubman Stadium in Monrovia. Chris Dukuly give Gedi and sons the lead on 14 minute to end the first half one nil in their favour. Back from recess Watanga control the match but fail to capitalize on their chances. Just on the brink of the whistle league top score Teku Nahn seal the match after he received a gifted passed from the Watanga’s Defense.
